Primary Research - Forum Analysis



Here's the findings I discovered when researching what my audience want in the music videos they consume:

Successful videos need a particular theme or storyline behind them.
Reverse narrative intrigues the audience
Focusing on more than one character is good, but focusing on too many can make the music video look like a clip montage.
If the song has a narrative, so should the video.
Sexualisation of characters is acceptable as long as it doesn’t go too far – nothing inappropriate for young children before 9pm.
